  • 4 hot dogs
  • 1 small package thick, flat rice noodles
  • mustard or ketchup, for eyes

How to make it

  1. Cook the hot dogs in about an inch of water for 5 minutes, or until well heated through.
  2. Remove the hot dogs from the water and add the noodles, letting them sit for a few minutes to soften. (Alternatively, cook to the package directions).
  3. Wrap the rice noodles around each hot dog to resemble a mummy - this can be easier with paper towel on hand to pat them dry, so they won't be as slippery.
  4. Leave a space for the eyes to peek through, and dot them on with a toothpick or bamboo skewer dripped in mustard or ketchup.
