  • 9-inch pie crust
  • 1 cup dark corn syrup
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 4 Founders & Farmers eggs
  • 1/2 cup Cal & Gary's unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tsp almond extract
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 cups of fresh cranberries
  • 1 1/2 cup Founders & Farmers pecans, chopped

How to make it

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350°F, par bake crust until set and sandy in colour.
  2. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl combine corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, almond extract and salt; beat thoroughly.
  3. Place cranberries and pecans in pie crust and pour liquid mixture over top. Take strips of tinfoil and cover pie crust edges to keep them from burning. Bake 50-60 minutes, or until center is set.
  4. Enjoy and pair with a chilled Moscato.
