What are the special attributes and experience that make you a strong candidate for Calgary Co-op’s board?
My experience aligns well with the Co-op’s mission and current desire for complimentary skills on its Board. As a senior leader in large corporations and as CEO and Co-Founder of two technology-focused companies I have delivered on innovative technology solutions and implemented IT Security compliance, governance, and risk programs — areas I know are essential to Calgary Co-op’s success. My time leading large teams has honed my collaborative approach and informed my belief in staying connected to the voices of your customers and employees. I am deeply committed to enhancing the customer experience, a value I have embraced throughout my professional career, and I look forward to contributing my skills and experience to the Calgary Co-op Board.
Why do you want to serve on the Calgary Co-op Board of Directors?
As a lifelong Calgarian, avid home cook, and recently a new grandmother, the Co-op has been our family’s go-to retailer for over 30 years. My career has focused on customer service, digital transformation, building strong teams and empowering people. My values align with those of the Calgary Co-op, and I will work hard as a Board Member to carry on its successful legacy.
