Our Best from the West program isn’t just a label—it’s a commitment to embracing the bounties of our own backyard and uplifting Canadian farmers and producers.

What Makes A Product “Best from the West”? 

To earn the Best from the West label, products must meet specific criteria designed to ensure a meaningful connection to Western Canada. Eligible products must achieve a localized score of 6.0/10 and meet at least two out of three of the following criteria:

  • The product is produced or processed in Western Canada (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba).
  • More than 90% of the product’s ingredients are grown, raised, or harvested in Western Canada.
  • The brand owner is majority-owned in Western Canada.

These guidelines help us highlight products that truly represent the spirit of local business, ensuring our customers have access to the best quality goods while directly supporting Western Canadian farmers and producers.
