Tips & Tricks for the Best BBQ

Leave a little space between the pieces on the grill to allow air circulation and get an even cook.

Add more flavour to any cut with dry rubs and marinades. Plus, marinating for 30 minutes can tenderize a tougher cut.

Once you’ve placed food on the grill, try to resist the urge to constantly flip or move it around. Let it cook undisturbed to develop those delicious grill marks and flavours. Flipping too often can lead to uneven cooking.

Try something new with a classic grilled cheese! Cooking it on the grill adds a delicious smoky flavour with a crispy texture from the grill marks.

No campfire? Roast your S’more on the grill. Assemble as normal, and place on the BBQ to cook. Use indirect heat to melt your marshmallow and chocolate without burning the graham cracker.E

Cut lemons, limes, or oranges in half and grill them cut-side down. The heat caramelizes the sugars in the fruit, intensifying their flavour and making them a tasty addition to grilled meats, seafood or salads.

Oiling the grates helps prevent sticking and creates beautiful grill marks. Try a spray bottle or dip a paper towel into oil, and using tongs rub it across the hot grill grates.
