Ingredients

  • 1 pizza shell or pizza dough
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 large sweet onions
  • 2 sprigs thyme, picked
  • 1 green apple, quartered and thinly sliced
  • 4 oz Founders & Farmers Double Cream Brie, thinly sliced
  • 1 bottle of balsamic glaze, for garnish
  • 5 fresh basil leaves, for garnish
  • **Flour for dusting work surface**
  • Salt & pepper

How to make it

  1. Pre-heat oven to 450F. Use a pizza stone for best results.
  2. Peel and slice onions thinly. Cook onions in 2 tablespoons olive oil on medium heat until golden brown with picked thyme leaves
  3. **While onions are cooking roll out pizza dough on flour dusted work surface ¼” to ½” thick**
  4. Brush pizza dough with remaining oil, then top with caramelized onion and thinly sliced brie.
  5. Bake at 450F for 6 minutes on sheet pan or pizza stone. Remove pizza from oven top with apples and return to oven for another 6 minutes.
  6. Remove pizza from oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze and top with fresh basil leaves.
