What are the special attributes and experience that make you a strong candidate for Calgary Co-op’s board?
I bring the energy and innovation of a young entrepreneur, along with leadership experience from serving on the Calgary Chamber of Commerce, another membership-driven organization. My work as the founder of Local Laundry has connected me with small businesses and the community, and I’m passionate about driving sustainable, purpose-driven growth. I’ve led successful grassroots ESG campaigns, like raising over $75,000 in just five days for the Jasper Wildfire Relief through a custom shirt initiative. These experiences give me a unique perspective on building community engagement, enhancing member value, and sharing Co-op’s story in innovative ways. I’m eager to bring fresh ideas and a collaborative spirit to Calgary Co-op’s board.

Why do you want to serve on the Calgary Co-op Board of Directors?
I want to serve on the Calgary Co-op Board to bring my entrepreneurial mindset, experience in retail and ESG, and passion for engaging younger generations, young families and community-focused individuals. At a time when grocery prices are a real concern, I believe Co-op can lead in providing value, supporting
local businesses, and fostering strong ESG initiatives that help our community thrive for generations to come.
